The new Audi RS4 has begun its tour of the international auto show circuit with the unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show. The German brand has also given a couple of extra treats in the form of new photos and the very first video of the model in action.
The focal point of the latest RS incarnation is the the hand built 4.2-liter V8 engine that produces 450PS ( 331kW / 444 hp ) and 430 Nm (317.15 lb-ft) of torque. Despite the impressive fuel economy figures of 11-liters/km ( 21.38 US mpg) it has not hindered the overall performance. The RS4 Avant can accelerate to 100kph (62mph) in 4.7 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250kph/155mph (280kph / 174 mph without the limiter).
Pricing for the new Audi RS4 Avant begins at €76,600 with sales due to begin in the fall.
