Nissan has introduced the Invitation concept at the Geneva Motor Show.
Designed to preview an upcoming production model, possibly the Note, the Invitation is a five-door hatchback with sporty styling and a functional interior. Highlights include a prominent grille, a "squash" character line and a panoramic glass roof. There's also an around view monitor and various Safety Shield Technologies which "interact with the driving environment keeping the driver aware of what is happening around the car."
Additional information is limited, but the concept rides on the V-platform which also underpins the Micra. It uses a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear suspension.
There's no word on engine specifications, but Nissan says one of the production variants is targeted to have CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km.
