The final touches to the first Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe Black Series destined for Australia were made just weeks ago and the vehicle has now arrived.

Performing a number of duties at this year's 2012 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, the GT3 series inspired AMG is the first of 32 to arrive in Australia, of which all are sold.

The team at the Mercedes-AMG factory in Affalterbach, Germany, worked to a tight schedule to ensure the vehicle was ready in time for the 2012 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix which kicks off on Thursday 15 March.

"AMG has its roots in international motorsport. The C63 AMG Coupe Black Series is the best proof there is for the permanent transfer of technology from the race track to the road. The C63 AMG Coupe Black Series also embodies the AMG brand claim of Driving Performance like virtually no other AMG models," says Ola Kallenius, Chairman of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.
