Ford has announced plans to introduce the Kuga and Fiesta ST at a pre-Geneva Motor Show event on Monday, March 5th.

The company declined to go into specifics, but the Kuga will be virtually identical to the 2013 Escape. Three different petrol engines are offered in North America, but Ford has previously stated the Kuga will have "unique powertrains and features."

Lastly, the Fiesta ST was previewed by a concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It is slated to feature an aerodynamic body kit, a sport-tuned suspension and a dual exhaust system. We can also expect an upgraded interior with sport seats and revised trim.

Power will likely be provided by a 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine with 180 PS (132 kW / 177 hp) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque. This could enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 7 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 220 km/h (137 mph).
