Ssangyong has released the first images of the XIV-2 convertible concept that will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next month. It is billed as a successor to the XIV-1 concept that was unleashed on the world at the Frankfurt Auto Show last year.
The XIV-2 (eXciting User Interface Vehicle 2) concept features the same CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) body style as its predecessor. The main innovation being the new soft top roof that changes the model to a convertible with the touch of a button.
It boasts dimensions measuring 4,166mm length, 1,820mm width and 1,566mm height along with a wheelbase that is 2,600mm long.
Additionally, we are told there will be eco-friendly, fuel efficient 1.6 litre diesel and petrol engines that meet Euro VI emission regulations.
