Today at the Chicago Auto Show, Hyundai introduces the 2013 Elantra Coupe to the world.

It features the Asian auto maker's "Fluidic Sculture" design language which intends to create a perception of fluid in motion, but results in a bit too much finesse and not enough aggression.

Power is provided by the 1.8-liter Nu four-cylinder engine that also lends its expertise to the sedan variant. Early estimated figures that have been released state it generates 148 hp ( 110 kW / 150 PS ) and 177Nm (131 lb-ft) of torque.

The Honda Civic Coupe and the Kia Koup have been identified as its chief rivals and the two-door coupe will hit dealerships in the spring, pricing is yet to be announced.
