Honda has announced plans to unveil their first Earth Dreams engine at the Geneva Motor Show. It will be shown alongside the NSX concept, the EV-STER concept and a Euro-spec CR-V prototype.

Honda has announced plans to unveil their first Earth Dreams engine at the Geneva Motor Show.

Displacing 1.6-liters, the diesel engine promises to deliver "excellent performance and environmental values." When it debuts in the European Civic later this year, it will produce 120 PS (88 kW / 118 hp) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. Additional information is limited, but Honda says it will be the lightest engine in its class and have CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km.

Besides the engine, Honda will show off the NSX concept, the EV-STER concept and a Euro-spec CR-V prototype. The company will also introduce two new Jazz variants: an Si with a sport-tuned suspension and an eco-friendly 1.2 model with start/stop technology.
