Ever wonder how an Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione would look like as the General Lee? Then today's your lucky day as John at Trcoff.gr managed to find one and send us this picture.
Just in case you were deprived of American TV during the early 1980s or missed its subsequent syndication to international markets, the General Lee is the name of the 1968-69 Dodge Charger driven in the television series The Dukes of Hazzard. The livery painted on the General Lee embodies the Southern United States of America as its name is a reference to the Confederate General Robert E. Lee. It also has a Confederate naval jack flag painted on its roof and the horn plays the melody from the first line of the song "Dixie."
Somehow though, the famous American paint scheme has found its way onto one of the most unlikely of vehicles - an Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. Taken near Balocco in Northern Italy, the 8C amongst three other 8C Spiders shows the flag on the roof and apparently the 01 number on the doors which is not viewable, according to Trcoff.gr.
The existence of this car inspires us to believe that maybe one day, it could be possible to see the famous "good ol boys" livery on a Bugatti Veyron!
