The three-door, five-door hatch and five-door Sport Tourer (ST) have been revealed in these initial images. All sport the same redesigned front fascia which have drawn inspiration from the recent IBE and IBX concept cars.

Engine options range from the entry level 1.2 liter unit with 60PS (59hp/44kW) up to the supercharged and turbocharged 1.4 TFSI engine with 150PS(148hp/110kW). Whilst most have been given a little tuning to improve their fuel economy, Seat has pointed out the extra fugal 1.2 TSI Ecomotive that delivers 105PS (103hp/77kW) and 175Nm of torque gets an average of just 5.1 liters/100km.

The high performance Ibiza Cupra model will also get the facelift treatment in mid-2012.
