Subaru has announced the 2013 BRZ will arrive at U.S. dealerships later this spring.

Set to be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show, the US-spec BRZ will be virtually identical to the international variant but it will weigh at least 11 lbs (5 kg) more. Despite the increased mass, the car will still feature a 2.0-liter boxer engine with 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) and, presumably, 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque. It can be paired to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
