DC Design has released the first teaser image of their supercar concept, ahead of its unveiling at the Delhi Auto Expo.

Billed as a machine that will "redefine the status-quo," the concept features a steeply-raked windscreen, muscular fenders and a sloping roofline.

Little else is known about the model, but rumors suggest the car will be powered by a turbocharged, Honda-sourced V6 engine with approximately 400 hp (298 kW / 406 PS). That doesn't sound like much, but the vehicle is expected to weigh 3,440 lbs (1,560 kg).

If everything pans out, a production model will be launched in late 2013 and the company could build 3,000 units annually. Furthermore, pricing could start at 30 lakh rupees ($56,277 / €43,500).
