The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster has already been confirmed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and now it appears the car will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2012.

Like the coupe, the roadster will feature a 6.5-liter V12 engine with 700 PS (515 kW / 690 hp) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. It will be connected to a seven-speed transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the car to return 11 mpg city / 17 mpg highway. Performance specifications remain a mystery, but the coupe rockets from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and has top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

Additional information is lacking, but an insider told Teamspeed the roof will be "much better" than the one used on the Murcielago Roadster.
