According to Viper magazine, SRT CEO Ralph Gilles has confirmed the 2013 Dodge Viper will be unveiled the New York Auto Show.

While this is a tad surprising, considering a Detroit debut was expected, it seems well within the realm of possibility.

As we have previously reported, the next-generation Viper will be more civilized and feature new equipment like stability control. Rumors have also suggested the car will have an 8.7-liter V10 engine with more than 600 hp (450 kW / 608 PS) and 560 lb-ft (760 Nm) of torque.
