Just hours before its scheduled unveiling at the Tokyo Motor Show, Subaru has revealed the first images and details of the production ready BRZ sports car, Subaru's version of the recently revealed Toyota GT 86.
As expected, the technical aspects of the Subaru BRZ mimic its Toyota brother. The same horizontally opposed 2.0 liter naturally aspirated boxer engine lies beneath the hood putting out 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) with a maximum torque of 205 Nm (151 lb-ft).
Still no word on performance figures, but Subaru has revealed the kerb weight is 1219kg (2,689 lb).
Now the question remains, which do you prefer? Toyota GT 86 or Subaru BRZ?
