Dodge introduces two new SRT8 limited edition models - the two here will go on sale next year.

Dodge has revived two classic monikersfrom the late 1960s in the limited edition 2012 Challenger SRT8 Yellow Jacket and 2012 Charger SRT8 Super Bee which will premiere at the L.A. Auto Show next week.

The Challenger SRT8 Yellow Jacket comes in a Stinger Yellow exterior paint with black body-side stripes and a black grille surround matching the Yellow Jacket logo on the rear fender. The car also features 9 x 20-inch five-spoke aluminum rims with black painted pockets. Inside are black leather seats with a Stinger Yellow accent band and embroidered Yellow Jacket logo in silver stitching.

The 2012 Charger SRT8 Super Bee comes in a choice of Stinger Yellow or Pitch Black for the exterior along with Super Bee graphics. Wheels are the same as on the Challenger special edition. For the interior is a three-spoke sport steering wheel, exclusive Z-stripe cloth sports seats with yellow and silver striping along with silver accent stitching and Super Bee logos.

Both models come with the 6.4 liter HEMI V8 that produces 470 hp (350 kW / 477 PS) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque.

The two limited edition models will debut at the Los Angeles motor show November 16 and go on sale in the first quarter of 2012.
