According to a recent report, the Rhys Millen Racing RM500 Genesis coupe could be headed for production.

Speaking with Inside Line, Hyundai spokesman Miles C. Johnson said the car is "not a go project yet" but "anything is possible." Johnson acknowledged fans have wanted a V8 engine, in the Genesis coupe, for years and commented "... we're really excited at how cleanly and easily Rhys got the [Tau V8] engine to fit."

As we reported yesterday, the RM500 has a carbon fiber body kit, high-performance brakes and a 450 hp (336 kW / 456 PS) 5.0-liter V8 engine from the Genesis R-Spec sedan.
