Engineers fit the GT-R's gearbox and drivetrain to the Juke-R in one of the final stages of development before testing begins this month.
Fitting the Nissan Juke with the gearbox and drivetrain of the Nissan GT-R wasn't going to be easy given that the Juke has a wheelbase 250 mm shorter than that of the GT-R's. But this video shows Nissan engineers making that happen in one of the final stages of development before testing on the Nissan Juke-R begins this month.
The Nissan Juke-R is fitted with the 3.8 liter twin-turbo V6 of the Nissan GT-R but with slightly less output, developing 480 bhp (486 PS / 358 kW) instead of 520 bhp (530 PS / 390 kW).
Too bad this is just a one-off creation (Nissan will actually be making two exemplars, one a right-hand drive and one a left), because an SUV like this just might sell.
