Subaru has announced plans to introduce the BRZ STI concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Essentially a preview of the production model, the concept has an aggressive front fascia with a prominent grille and LED daytime running lights.  There's also bulging fenders, a massive rear wing and a four-tailpipe exhaust system.

The company withheld details, but stated the BRZ will have a low center of gravity and be a "pure handling delight." That's petty vague, but recent reports have indicated the Toyota FT-86 / Scion FR-S will weigh 1,210 kg (2,668 lbs) and have a 2.0-liter Boxer engine that develops 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque.
