Pulse will be the third model in Renault's Indian-market lineup after the Fluence and Koleos.

Renault has introduced its third vehicle into its Indian-market lineup - the Pulse.

The Pulse is a compact minicar designed by Renault's Design Center in Mumbai but based on the Micra model from sister brand Nissan. Powering the Pulse will be a 1.5 dCi diesel engine of unspecified output which will also be produced at the Renault-Nissan Chennai production plant in India where the Pulse will be assembled.

The Pulse will be the third model in Renault's Indian-market lineup after the Fluence and Koleos.

The Renault Pulse will go on sale in India after its appearance at the 2012 New Delhi Motor Show this upcoming January.
