German automaker has created a lightweight supercar fitted with a 7.0 liter V8 from GM good for 550 HP.

Introducing the CCG Automotive customGT.

And custom is the key word here because CCG offers this car in various configurations.

Engines on offer are two GM-sourced units - a 6.0 liter V8 with 450 PS (331 kW / 444 hp) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque, and a 7.0 liter V8 with 550 PS (405 kW / 542 hp) 605 Nm (446 lb-ft).

CCG can also turbocharged that 7.0 liter V8 up to 740 PS (544 kW / 730 hp).

Transmission options are a six-speed manual or a sequential gearbox.

An LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) variant is also an option.

The customGT is made from a powder-coated tubular space-frame with outer skin body panels of fiberglass and carbon-fiber-reinforced composites. That results in very low curb weight of around 1,040 kg (2288 lbs) which makes for sprightly acceleration figures - 3.3 seconds for the 7.0 liter V8's 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) run. Top speed varies, depending on gear ratios, between 285 km/h (177 mph) and 320 km/h (199 mph).

Prices start at €113,500.
