Top Gear USA host takes on the ring in a Focus RS500 and manages to pass a Ferrari while on the infamous circuit.

Ford of Europe produced just 500 units of the Focus RS500 which sold out pretty quickly last year just after the model was announced.

But Ford made a few RS500s for itself and invited Top Gear USA host Tanner Foust to come out to Germany and try out the car on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. This brief video shows Foust's exeperience with the car on the infamous circuit. Watch as Foust is able to pass a Ferrari with the RS500. 

The Ford Focus RS500 comes with a turbocharged 2.5 liter, 5-cylinder unit producing 350 PS (257 kW / 345 hp) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque. The car goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 265 km/h (165 mph).
