If you're wondering why the photos here are of a right-hand drive pick up truck, that is because the task has fallen to GM Thailand to unveil to the world the new 2012 Chevrolet Colorado.
In Thailand, the new Colorado will be offered in 26 different combinations of powertrains and body-styles. Those include single-cab, extended-cab and crew cab variants along wide and narrow-body options, low or high stance, and two or four-wheel-drive.
The 2012 Colorado will come in three trim levels: LS, LT and LTZ.
Engines offered are the 2.8 liter Duramax turbo-diesel with 180 PS (132 kW / 177 hp) and 470 Nm (346 lb-ft) of torque and the 2.5 liter Duramax turbo-diesel rated at 150 PS (110 kW / 148 hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque.
