A fatal accident involving a Ferrari 360 took place on Pacific Coast Highway just north of Sunset Boulevard on September 19.
Authorities have reported the Ferrari was traveling twice the legal speed of 45 mph when the driver, Vladimir Skvortsov, 24, of Upland, hit a utility pole splitting the vehicle in half. Then the car continued off a 30 foot cliff landing onto the beach. The two halves of the car were approximately 60 feet apart.
Passenger Basil Max Price III, 23, of Pomona, died at the scene after the crash.
