Gordon Murray Design has unveiled the TEEWAVE AR.1 (T.32) prototype.

Commissioned by Toray Industries, the electric roadster was created in nine months and features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and a lightweight carbon fiber body.

A 16 kWh lithium-ion battery sends power to an electric motor that develops 64 PS (47 kW / 63 hp) and 180 Nm (133 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the 850 kg (1,874 lb) prototype to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 11.4 seconds, hit a top speed of 147 km/h (91 mph) and travel approximately 186 km (115 miles) on a single charge. Once the battery is depleted, it can be fully recharged in six hours.
