Based on the facelifted coupe, the convertible has an aggressive front fascia, a honeycomb grille, a revised rear bumper and two massive exhaust tips.

Power will be provided by a 4.2-liter V8 engine with 450 PS (331 kW / 444 hp) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. It will be paired to a seven-speed S tronic transmission which should enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than five seconds and hit a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
