E-Class-based concept shows the Brabus High Performance 4WD Full Electric system with 320 kW of power and 3,200 Nm of torque.

German tuner Brabus isn't waiting for automakers to come up with the technology of tomorrow. The BRABUS High Performance 4WD Full Electric set up, seen here in this concept based on the E-Class (W212), is the tuner's own all-wheel drive, all-electric propulsion system.

The concept features 4wheel-mounted electric motors, each with 80 kW and a peak torque of 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) in Sport mode, that combined deliver 320 kW (435 PS / 429 hp) and 3,200 Nm (2360 lb-ft). 0 to 100 km/h is completed in 6.9 seconds and top speed is 220 km/h (136.70 mph).

A lithium-ion battery pack of 56 kWh allows for a range of up to 350 km (217 miles).

CO2 emissions are, of course, zero.

The model featured here comes with lots of unique EV technology, such as the electro-hydraulic brake system that recuperate energy when braking.
