Croatia automaker claims it has made the ultimate all-electric supercar with over 1000 HP and a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of just 2.8 seconds.
This time the Croatia automaker Rimac Automobili has put together a slick-looking video teaser of its upcoming One Concept which will debut at the Frankfurt motor show in 11 days.
The One Concept is still confined to an under-the-radar status but may prove to be one of the most tantalizing concepts of the show.
What is it?
The One concept is an all-electric supercar powered by four electric motors, mounted on each wheel, with a total wattage of 800 kW (1088 PS / 1074 bhp) and a moon-shooting torque rating of 3800 Nm (2802 lb-ft).
Curb weight on the One Concept is 1650 kg (3638 lbs) and the car does the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 2.8 seconds. Top speed is an electronically-governed 305 km/h (190 mph).
All that is fine but when Rimac says the car will also have a range of 600 km (373 miles) we're assuming that either the whole car is a battery or that what we have here is another automaker stretching the rules that govern science-based claims.
We will see soon enough.
