On the styling front, the model is distinguished by a new grille, restyled taillights and updated 18- and 19-inch alloy wheels. There's also a Limited Edition package which adds tinted Xenon headlights, a dark chrome grille, a rear spoiler and 18-inch aluminum wheels with a "Dark Hyper Silver" finish.

Inside, the cabin has new instrument cluster illumination, revised trim (Metallic, Dark Piano or Atlantic Cherry wood) and nicer HVAC / audio control knobs.

Power continues to be provided by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that develops 290 hp (216 kW / 294 PS) and 261 lb-ft (353 Nm) of torque.

The 2012 Nissan Maxima is currently on sale and pricing starts at $31,750.
