MINI CEO Kay Segler has confirms plans to build a production version of the Paceman concept. It will be like be launched in late 2012 or early 2013.

We've heard numerous reports MINI would build the Paceman concept, but CEO Kay Segler has just confirmed it.

Speaking with Car & Driver, the executive revealed the crossover will share engines with the Countryman and be built in Graz, Austria by Magna Steyr.

Launch details remain elusive, but the production model will likely arrive at dealerships in late 2012 or early 2013.
