Ford has already announced plans to introduce a "major new design concept" at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but a new report is indicating the model could be a Focus coupe.

According to Carscoop, the company will unveil a sporty coupe concept which might be based on the Focus platform. Besides previewing an eventual production model, the car will reportedly showcase Ford's new styling direction.

Despite the latest rumors, Ford spokesman Mark Schirmer told reporters, nearly two years ago, "there are no plans for any coupe or three-door hatch or whatever you want to call it."
