Hajek Motorsports F-250 Super Duty breaks top speed record for a B Production Diesel Truck as well as for a B20 bio-diesel truck too.

A Ford F-250 Super Duty pickup truck has broken two land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Prepped for the record-breaking achievement by Hajek Motorsports, the F-250 Super Duty, with a 6.7 liter Power Stroke V8 diesel unit under the hood, broke the record for a B Production Diesel Truck reaching a top speed of 171.123 mph (275.40 km/h).

The truck also broke a record for a B20 (20 percent bio diesel) run, hitting a top speed of 182 mph (292.90 km/h) on the flats.

The previous record for a B20 in this category was 130.614 mph ( 210.20 km/h).

The engine has an output of 400 bhp (298 kW) and 800 lb-ft (1083 Nm) of torque.

Said Brent Hajek, head of Hajek Motorsports: "The F-250 is an excellent truck with amazing capabilities. I'm amazed at how, with very few changes from stock, we were able to accomplish this."
