Hennessey has announced plans to stage the U.S. debut of the Venom GT at tomorrow's McCall Motorworks Revival.

Hennessey has announced plans to stage the U.S. debut of the Venom GT at tomorrow's McCall Motorworks Revival as part of the buildup for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

As we have previously reported, the supercar is based on the Lotus Exige and features a twin-turbo 6.2-liter V8 engine with 1,200 hp (895 kW / 1,217 PS) and 1,155 lb-ft (1,564 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed Ricardo manual transmission which enables the 2,685 lb (1,220 kg) vehicle to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 275 mph (443 km/h).

Production is limited to five units annually and pricing starts at $950,000 (€660,190 / £577,850).
