BMW has announced plans to offer Exclusive Editions of the X5 and X6.
Available this fall, the models have an upgraded interior with Nevada leather sport seats, an Anthracite headliner and dark Bamboo wood trim. Other highlights include unique sill plates and black floor mats with oyster-colored edging.
Besides the Exclusive Editions, BMW will offer BluePerformance technology on the X5 xDrive30d. This makes the crossover fully compliant with EU6 emission standards by adding a diesel particulate filter, a diesel oxidation catalyst and a NOx absorber. Strangely, the changes make the model less efficient as it has average fuel consumption of 7.5 L/100km and CO2 emissions of 198 g/km (compared to 7.4 L/100km and 195 g/km on the standard X5 xDrive30d).
