F-Sport package will include mesh grill, 17-inch high gloss wheels and a tuned suspension.

Toyota USA has announced full details on the new Lexus CT200h, which also gets an optional F-Sport Package for the 2012 model year.

First revealed late last year in Australia, the F-Sport package for the CT200h takes its cues from the Lexus F Sport Performance accessories and included a tuned suspension, 17-inch high-gloss rims, mesh front grille, leather steering wheel and shift knob, aluminum sport pedals and metallic dash trim. Trim offerings for the seats are the Black NuLuxe or perforated black leather.

Other changes to the standard CT200h offering include a new exterior color, Nebula Gray Pearl, which replaces Smoky Granite Mica.

The 2012 Lexus CT200h also gets a new pedestrian warning system (Vehicle Proximity Notification System) which regulators are looking to make mandatory in the United States.
