In her sports car race debut earlier this month, 16 year old Beitske Visser took victory in the Dutch Supercar Challenge despite receiving a 25 second penalty and a drive through penalty.

Driving a 500HP Praga R4S in the top GT class, Beitske beat out cars like the Corvette GT1 C5.R driven by Roger Grouwels.

But don't be fooled by her disarming smile. Beitske has been racing karts since she was 5 years old and is sponsored by the Intrepid Kart driver program. In 2010 she won the WSK Master Series and took 2nd place in the CIK-FIA European Championship in one of the top karting classes (KZ2 shifters karts 125cc).

Through the Intrepid Kart driver program and their partnership with Czech race team Praga, Visser was invited to make her sports car race debut.

Surely, both Praga and Intrepid are happy with their decision!
