Starting with an original 1965 or 1966 Mustang, the tuner updates the car with modern mechanicals and a 7.0-liter V8 engine.
Classic Recreations has released the first details about their upcoming Shelby G.T.350CR.
Starting with an original 1965 or 1966 Mustang, the tuner installs a rack and pinion steering system, high-performance brakes and a coilover suspension. Other updates include a limited slip rear differential, a Tremec manual transmission and a sport exhaust system.
Under the hood, the entry-level model features a 7.0-liter V8 engine with 545 hp (406 kW / 553 PS). If that isn't powerful enough, the company will also offer a supercharged version with 645 hp (481 kW / 654 PS) as well as a twin-turbo variant with over 1,000 hp (746 kW / 1014 PS).
Pricing starts at $119,000 and includes a listing in the Shelby American Worldwide Registry.
