KTM has unveiled their new E3W electric vehicle concept.

Developed with the Austrian Institute of Technology, the three-wheel vehicle features a lightweight plastic body which enables it to tip the scales at just 500 kg (1,102 lbs).

Motivation is provided by a lithium-ion battery which sends power to a 20 PS (15 kW / 20 hp) electric motor. It probably won't offer X-Bow levels of acceleration, but the concept can travel approximately 100 km (62 miles) on a single charge.

If recent reports are correct, the E3W could enter production in 2013 with a price as low as €5,050 ($7,170).
