Lamborghini has already announced plans to introduce a "super sports car" at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but a new report says it will be something we didn't expect.
Citing anonymous sources, Auto Express is reporting the model will be a road-going version of the Gallardo Super Trofeo. Details are limited, but the magazine says the car will be lighter, faster and more aggressive than the standard model. Additionally, power will likely be provided by a 5.2-liter V10 engine that develops at least 570 PS (419 kW / 562 hp). This should enable the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately three seconds, before hitting a top speed of 210 mph (338 km/h).
