Muscular fender flares front and back, giant 23-inch wheels and a striking face with large air dams and four auxiliary headlights

462 hp Widestar

The foundation on the Brabus GL was laid in August 2006, but today Brabus, Mercedes tuner extraordinaire, has released the Widestar version.

As the name suggests, the Brabus Widestar is extra wide, the fenders add 5 centimeters to the width to be precise. The rocker panels not only add to the visual effect but also help with entering and exiting the SUV. The new front apron maximizes cool air supply for the radiators and the front brakes and reduces aerodynamic lift. The rear receives a new roof spoiler, rear diffuser and the rear apron fits perfectly to the widened fenders of course.

The GL Brabus Widestar is also fitted with a stainless-steel sport exhaust, can house 305/35 R 23 wheels, can be lowered by 30 mm, uses high performance brakes (12-piston aluminium calipers and 380x36mm front discs with six-piston rear calipers) and the top-of-the-range GL500 is boosted to 562 hp.
