In a recent interview, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn hinted Infiniti could build a version of the GT-R.

He didn't specifically say the model would be produced, but told Car Magazine it would be easy to do because "all the technologies developed for Nissan are available to Infiniti." Furthermore, the executive said "The idea makes sense. The technology is here, the platform is here."

However, Ghosn said the vehicle is not currently under development and may never be built. That's slightly disappointing, but it sounds like the company hasn't shut the door on a high-performance flagship.
