According to a recent report, Audi is preparing to add more power to the 2012 R8.

The Audi R8 is nearly five years old and the first details are starting to emerge about the facelifted model.

Sources suggest the 4.2-liter V8 will produce 444 hp (331 kW / 450 PS) while the 5.2-liter V10 gets uprated to 533 hp (397 kW / 540 PS). More importantly, there are rumors of a seven-speed S-tronic transmission which would likely replace the current R-tronic.
