McLaren GT will race the MP4-12C GT3 in second event this year with 3 cars and 10 drivers at Spa.
McLaren GT is throwing several hats into the ring as three MP4-12C GT3 race cars will compete at the 24 Hours of Spa at the Spa-Francorchamps on July 30 and 31.
This is the second race for the McLaren GT team this year, after competing in the British GT Championship earlier this month. Ten drivers will take part in the competition this upcoming weekend. Two of the cars will compete in the Pro-Cup category while the other is slated for the Pro-Am Cup series.
The MP4-12C GT3 racer comes with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine (known internally as the M838T) with 500 PS (368 kW / 493 bhp). That is less than the series' figure of 600 PS (441 kW / 592 bhp) for the road-going MP4-12C.
