Mercedes has quietly unveiled the S-Class Grand Edition in Italy.

Essentially a last hurrah for the current model, the car is distinguished by an AMG body kit, LED daytime running lights and 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, designers added black ash trim, stainless steel pedals and unique floor mats.

Under the hood, four engines are available. Petrol choices include the 306 PS (225 kW / 302 hp) S 350 BlueEFFICIENCY and the 435 PS (320 kW / 429 hp) S 500. On the other hand, diesel fans can choose from the 204 PS (150 kW / 201 hp) S 250 CDI or the 258 PS (190 kW / 255 hp) S 350 BlueTEC.
