Nissan has announced a series of upgrades for the 2012 Leaf.
First and foremost, the company has decided to make the DC fast charge port standard equipment on the SL variant. This allows the car to be charged at 480V which enables a fully-depleted battery to have an 80% charge in less than 30 minutes.
Additionally, all models gain a battery warmer, heated seats and a heated steering wheel.
The 2012 Nissan Leaf will be priced from $35,200 and will be available for order - in existing and new markets like Indiana, Nevada and Pennsylvania - on August 4th.
