The Porsche Cajun (Cayenne Junior) is stepping into the spotlight as two design renderings have leaked to the internet.

Purported to be official, the pictures reveal a sleek three-door crossover which resembles an elongated 911 on stilts. Notable highlights include a coupe-like roofline, a center-mounted dual exhaust system and massive alloy wheels.

As we have previously reported, the Cajun will be based on the Audi Q5 and could be offered with a 220 hp (164 kW / 223 PS) 2.0-liter TFSI and a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and 350 hp (261 kW / 355 PS). On the diesel side, there are rumors of a 200 hp (149 kW / 203 PS) 2.0-liter TDI as well as a 3.0-liter V6 TDI that develops 250 hp (186 kW / 253 PS) and 310 hp (231 kW / 314 PS). A hybrid is also expected and it will likely feature a 208 hp (155 kW / 211 PS) 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine that is paired to a 44 hp (33 kW / 45 PS) electric motor.

The model is slated to be launched in 2013 or 2014, so stay tuned for continuing coverage.
