Facelifted Audi A5/S5 range include new front and rear light clusters, slightly larger dimensions and updated engines.
Audi has unveiled the new, facelifted A5 range.
Updated on the exterior of the A5 are the redesigned front and rear light clusters. Also, the A5's dimensions have grown slightly - by one millimeter (0.04 inches) in each direction - making the A5 Sportback 4.71 meters (15.45 ft) long, with the A5 Coupé and Cabriolet measuring 4.63 meters (15.19 ft) in length.
New to the Audi A5 engine lineup is the 3.0 TFSI, a supercharged V6 producing 200 kW (272 PS / 268 bhp). The S5 Sportback, Coupé and Cabriolet models all get the 3.0 liter TFSI with 245 kW (333 PS / 328 bhp); whereas the previous S5 Coupé had a much thirstier 4.2 liter V8 unit.
The 125 kW (170 PS / 167 bhp) 1.8 liter TFSI unit has also been revised to deliver greater fuel-economy (5.7 l/100 km or 41.27 US mpg).
Prices for the new A5 start at €33,350 in Germany for the base-model A5 Sportback 1.8 TFSI.
