Seat isn't the most exciting brand in Volkswagen's empire, but the Spanish subsidiary is cooking up a high-performance Ibiza ST.

Caught undisguised near the Nürburgring, the model has a new front bumper, a mesh grille and a revised exhaust system. Other changes include a sport-tuned suspension, beefier brakes and unique five-spoke alloy wheels.

Like the standard Ibiza FR, the ST variant will likely be offered with two engines: a 1.4-liter TSI with 150 PS (110 kW / 148 hp) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque as well as a 2.0-liter TDI with 143 PS (105 kW / 141 hp) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque.
