The Chrysler Town & Country isn't the most exciting vehicle on the market, but new details are starting to emerge about the redesigned model that is currently under development.
Speaking at a recent event, Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said the minivan will ride on a new platform that can underpin additional models and be outfitted with all-wheel drive. He neglected to mention the Ram Lifestyle pickup, but revealed a crossover was under consideration.
Marchionne also stated, "We need to be more competitive, so we made it a priority to replace it faster than we originally thought." This means the Town & Country could be launched as early as 2013 (as a 2014 model).
