America still hates wagons, but Mercedes has confirmed plans to offer the E63 AMG Estate in the United States.
Mercedes has announced plans to offer the E63 AMG Estate in the United States.
Set to arrive in October, the high-performance wagon features a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 518 hp (386 kW / 525 PS) and 516 lb-ft (699 lb-ft) of torque. U.S performance specifications haven't been announced, but the European model can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, hit a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) and average 10.0 L/100km (23.5 mpg).
It will share the same ECO Stop/Start system and the AMG 7-Speed MCT seen on the sedan, and a panorama roof.
