Next-generation Mercedes-Benz M-Class is sporting an AMG styling package and is set to debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September.

Here are the latest spy shots of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class, this time caught tested while wearing an AMG styling package.

This silver-colored prototype comes with less camo than we've seen before and features some AMG styling cues which you can have fun trying to pick out.

Under the hood of the next-generation M-Class we expect a 306 PS (225 kW / 302 hp) 3.5-liter V6 and a 435 PS (320 kW / 429 hp) 4.6-liter V8. On the diesel side will be a 3.0-liter that develops 265 PS (195 kW / 262 hp).

The 2012 M-Class will debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September.
